Sterling is proud to be sponsoring the SuperCupNI, one of the world’s most prestigious international youth football tournaments.
Teams from around the world, including the likes of Manchester United, Aston Villa, Celtic, Rangers and Toluca, will be competing at this year’s instalment.
The annual youth football tournament will feature elite girls’ and boys’ teams from around the world competing in a week of matches across multiple age groups to be crowned the 2025 SuperCupNI champions.
The tournament kicks off on Sunday 27th July and will run until Friday 1st August. It will consist of three male age groups:
- Minor – boys born on or after 1st January 2012.
- Junior – boys born on or after 1st January 2011.
- Premier – boys born on or after 1st January 2009.
Meanwhile, the girls’ edition will run from Sunday 27th July to Thursday 31st July and will consist of two age groups:
- Junior – girls born on or after 1st January 2011.
- Premier – girls born on or after 1st January 2009.
Some of world football’s greatest players have competed in this tournament over the last four decades including Manchester United and England legend Wayne Rooney, Marcus Rashford, Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Steve McManaman, Joe Cole, Barcelona and Spanish hero Sergio Busquets and Bayern Munich stars Mats Hummels and Owen Hargreaves.

The SuperCupNI is now in its 42nd year and will attract over 50,000 visitors and up to 2,500 participants as young players, families, friends and football fans from all over the world attend the tournament.
