{"id":1026,"date":"2024-05-08T12:28:39","date_gmt":"2024-05-08T11:28:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sterling-insurance.co.uk/northern-ireland\/?p=1026"},"modified":"2026-02-25T14:18:43","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T14:18:43","slug":"sterling-supercupni","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sterling-insurance.co.uk/northern-ireland\/blog\/partnerships\/sterling-supercupni\/","title":{"rendered":"Sterling Insurance kicks off new partnership with prestigious SuperCupNI football tournament"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sterling Insurance is proud to announce it has teamed up with a world-famous international youth football tournament, taking place in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our three-year partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/supercupni.com\/\">SuperCupNI <\/a>begins this summer, with high-profile clubs like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manutd.com\/\">Manchester United<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.celticfc.com\/\">Celtic<\/a> visiting for the prestigious week-long event, beginning on Sunday June 21.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2024 SuperCup NI will feature more than 60 teams across five age groups (male and female) at matches across the country. Some of the finest young players in Europe will show off their skills and our general manager can\u2019t wait to take in the action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Andy Morton said: \u201cWe feel proud, and privileged, to have agreed a three-year association with one of the world&#8217;s most respected youth football tournaments.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe SuperCupNI is synonymous with Northern Ireland and brings so much joy and positivity to the country and we&#8217;re excited to be part of that, starting this summer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSterling Insurance is here&nbsp;to support the&nbsp;organisers, provide some backing and bring in a few touches that can hopefully add something a little new to the week. Previous participants include David Beckham and Sergio Busquets, so future stars are to be expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLike every football fan, I know about the competition. I remember reading stories about the clubs who had won the tournament while growing up and am aware of all the famous sides and players who have played here,\u201d added Andy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI&#8217;ve played football all the way from u10s to Vets. I&#8217;m a centre back, an Arsenal fan and love the game so on a personal level, this is such an exciting partnership. The plan is to travel around the country with my wife in a camper van and take in as many games as we can.
